When a developer goes from free to a $129/month subscription model in one fell swoop, it inspires me to find an alternative... pronto. And when I pull it off, just color me a happy camper!

It once was a nifty way to generate a static site from a local Wordpress setup and I was considering a little donation to help support its developer. That’s the way I usually roll, but I’m not interested in providing the developer with an ongoing living, particularly because without any real change in the software’s functionality, the new over-pricing scheme is worth nothing to me.

My alternative works just fine, thank you. I’ll take a pass on their exciting offer. :)
